Ready for B1?

1. Based on a certain number of hours of prior study:

I have completed at least 5 Language Center courses at level A (semester courses or intensive courses). If you have not attended any courses at the Language Centre, please take the Cornelsen online placement test.

2. Based on the Cornelsen online placement Test:

I have completed the Cornelsen online placement Test for level A2 with a pass of at least 80% (33 points).

3. Based on relevant vocabulary and grammar skills:

I have an active vocabulary of approx. 1,500 words. I know at least half of the most common 2,000 words in the German language according to Tschirner.* In addition, I know the specific vocabulary needed to cope with my studies and daily life.

I am familiar with basic German grammar.**
