Reference library

Target audiences and our library holdings

The Language Center’s reference library is open to lecturers and to participants of Language Center courses. Other interested parties can also use our reference library.

The Language Center Library contains a wide range of language materials, dictionaries and grammar books, magazines, academic journals, and multimedia materials for language learning and language teaching. In particular, it contains materials for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Latin. Some materials are also available for Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Modern Greek, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Swiss German and Classical Greek.

Our media are listed in the Rechercheportal.

Materials cannot be removed from the library. Visitors can use the materials in our Babylonia reading room, where photocopier, during Library opening hours. (In order to use the photocopier, you will need to purchase a special copy card.)
