Tailor-made courses

Would you like to help members of your research group improve their scientific writing with hands-on work on their texts? Want to arrange a workshop for your group to practice presentation skills before attending a big conference? Looking to integrate academic communication skills into your departmental curriculum, or want a course to support students in acquiring specific language skills for communicating in another country or context?

The Academic Communication Center can work with you to set up courses and workshops to help students and researchers improve their writing, presenting, and overall academic communication skills in their field. Our focus is on providing tailored input, feedback, and practice -- helping participants improve their work in progress. We collaborate with departments, institutes, and smaller research groups and are open to your ideas about course content and workshop formats.
